Muskegon Main Street Events

Main Street is involved in numerous signature events throughout the year.

Main Street Spring Cleanup - Held annually in May, the Main Street Cleanup gets the downtown ready for the excitement of Downtown Muskegon summers. Click here for a recap and pictures of the 2007 cleaning.

The 2008 spring clean-up will be held on May 16, 2008 between 9:00 and 2:00. If you are interested in volunteering email Dan at drinsema-sybenga@muskegon.org.







Taste of Muskegon/Main Street Car Show - Held Downtown Muskegon, the Taste of Muskegon/Main Street Car Show attracts Muskegon's best restaurants and classic cars and classic car lovers from all over Michigan. For a recap of the 2007 event visit the Taste of Muskegon.

The dates of 2008 event are June 21 and 22, 2008.









Main Street Holiday Movie Festival - A two day event bringing local school kids Downtown Muskegon to experience the magic of Christmas film classics. Kids bring canned food as a donation, which is distributed to local nonprofit organizations.
