is involved in numerous signature events throughout the year.

Spring Cleanup - Held annually in May, the Cleanup gets the downtown ready for the excitement of Downtown Muskegon summers. Click here for a recap and pictures of the 2008 cleaning.

The 2009 spring clean-up will be held on May 15, 2009 between 9:00 and 2:00. If you are interested in volunteering email Andrew at ahaan@muskegon.org.







Taste of Muskegon/Car Show - Held Downtown Muskegon, the Taste of Muskegon/Car Show attracts Muskegon's best restaurants and classic cars and classic car lovers from all over Michigan. For a recap of the 2008 event visit the Taste of Muskegon.

The dates of 2009 event are June 20 and 21, 2009.









Holiday Movie Festival - A two day event bringing local school kids Downtown Muskegon to experience the magic of Christmas film classics. Kids bring canned food as a donation, which is distributed to local nonprofit organizations.

Family Christmas - A real Muskegon Holiday Tradition is being at Hackley Park the Saturday after Thanksgiving for the lighting of the Holiday Tree. With a visit from Santa, hot chocolate and hot dogs.
