Family Christmas - November 28, 2009
A real Muskegon Holiday Tradition is being at Hackley Park the Saturday after Thanksgiving for the lighting of the Holiday Tree. With a visit from Santa, hot chocolate and hot dogs, carrollers and your chance to walk through the decorated park, this is an event not to be missed. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with the lighting of the tree taking place at 6:00 p.m.
And while you are downtown, why not get done some of your Holiday Shopping from one downtown's unique retailers? Five retailers including Hegg's Gallery of Fine Furniture, Jilly's Gallery, Sun, Wind, & Rain, Clay Avenue Cellars, and the Hackley & Hume Historic Sites will be open on the day of the event until 7:00 p.m. See our business directory to find that special gift you are looking for.
