Downtown Muskegon - Market Study

In the Fall of 2004 the Muskegon Main Street program was selected by the State of Michigan for an official designation as a Main Street program. One benefit of this designation was a market study of the downtown trade area by a group of national Main Street experts.

The Market Study was a four month process that involved 3 visits by the consultants to Muskegon as well as community involvement in the form of public sessions and consumer surveys.

The final report was a 155 page document that summarized the market potentional of downtown Muskegon. A copy of the Executive Summary is available here (PDF - 940 kb).
